Hello Everyone!
We hope you all had a lovely weekend! We hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. We know that it is very hard at the minute not getting to see your friends every day and coming to school but we hope that you are helping your families with different jobs around the house and doing a little bit of school work whenever you can!
We are missing you all so much and hearing all of your news but until then, Ms. Callery has set up a “Gallery of Curiosities” section on the school app so that we can see more of each other! All you have you to do, is take a picture of something you have done that week, it could be something from the Senior Infant grid, it might be a new skill or game you have learned, it could be you helping someone at home with a job, it could be of your tidy bedroom that you tidied up by yourself! You might decide to take a few pictures of what you have done and then all you have to do is get an adult to email your pictures with your name and class to info@hopejns.ie.
We have put together another grid of activities for you to do over the next few days, but remember they are optional! Try to do whatever you can and whatever works best for you and your family. Be reassured that any playtime that your child has whether it’s playing with lego, making a jigsaw, painting, colouring, playing with dolls or outside in your garden playing with a ball or planting new flowers is invaluable and important for their learning and development also!
Also, some of you might be interested in listening to the author David Walliams reading some of his books. During this time, he will release an audio book each day for the next 30 days! Here is the link! ://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/
Take care of yourselves and your families,we hope you are all managing during these difficult times.
We are thinking of you all,
The Senior Infant team
