Dear Parents, Guardians, Girls and Boys,
Hello again! We hope you are all enjoying your time at home, and we're sure you're helping around the house where you can!
We miss seeing you all everyday, but we know that it is super important that we all stay at home for now!
Parents - we really appreciate that it is hard enough to juggle everything in life on a normal day, and throwing school closures into the mix doesn't help! We as a group want to stress that the work we are sending out is not a compulsory list of tasks, but instead a bank of ideas to keep children in their school routine as much as possible, in the given circumstances.
You will notice that there is a lot of repetition involved in Junior Infants, so don't be disheartened if you feel that nothing new is being covered!
Once we are able to get back to normal and resume our normal school days, teachers will work to allow all children to reach their own learning potential. So please do not put yourselves under pressure, or feel as though your child is falling behind. We are all doing our very best during these uncertain times, and that is all we can do!
Boys and girls - we are looking forward to the day we can finally return to our lovely school and see all your happy faces ready and waiting in the line! We are sure you've got plenty of news to share, and we can't wait to hear it! Until then we want you to look after yourselves, your brothers, your sisters and your parents.
Stay safe and enjoy your time at home, and we'll hopefully see you very soon!
From the Junior Infants Team,
Ms. Mulhall, Mrs. Goodall, Mrs. Kelly, Ms. McGovern, Ms. Naughton, Ms. Martin, Ms. Jones and Ms. McNamara.
