All classes, Junior Infants to Second, are taking part in our D.E.A.R. initiative. Each class has been set a target to achieve by the end of June. Junior Classes will aim to run 5km and 1st & 2nd Classes will aim to run 10km.
At any stage during the school day the children and teacher will DEAR and get to work on achieving their goal. For every 200m they run the children will colour in a smiley face on their tracker. Every 5 smiley faces adds up to a kilometre.
