We all enjoyed a fantastic Active Week here in the Junior School. It was a busy week with plenty of activities for children and parents alike. We made an extra effort to be healthier in every sense by being more active, eating more healthily and thinking positive thoughts. The children went running each day, with some classes even completing a full kilometer each day on a marked out course. We had lots of visitors working with the children on activities such as basketball, tennis, football, Pilates and dancing. We had a parent's fitness class and a parent walk also. Sport's Day was a great success with the children enjoying moving from station to station to join in the fun of badminton, tennis, basketball, uni hoc, football, potato and spoon race, relays, orienteering, parachute activities, sack race, yoga and dance. Thank you to everyone who helped with organising the activities and to those who volunteered their expertise to help make Active Week a varied and fun filled time for all involved.
