Dia daoibh gach duine/ Hello Everyone,
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter break this year even though it was most definitely a unique one for us all. We hope you are keeping safe and well. We have really enjoyed the seeing and hearing all about what you have been up to during the past few weeks via Padlet.
We have attached below a plan of suggested activities for the week ahead. The activities have been broken down into a daily plan . We are hoping that this will help create a sense of structure for you all. We understand that each situation is an individual one and that learning from home comes with its own unique challenges. These activities are optional and we would encourage you to do whatever works best for you and your family situation during this very difficult time.
We are also attaching a document which has all the resources required to complete the activities we have given. At the end of the document there is a step by step guide to access Collins Big Cat ebooks. These are books that your child will be able to read to you. They are very similar to the parallel readers they bring home on a daily basis for homework, to encourage reading at their own pace and for enjoyment.
We would like to say a very sincere Thank you for all the wonderful pictures, videos and messages we have received via our class padlets. They help to make up for not being able to see and hear what you all have been doing. We hope that you will continue to engage with the class padlet and keep us all updated on the amazing work and effort you have been putting into your activities.
Take care of yourselves and your families, stay safe and hopefully we will all see each other soon.
We are thinking of you all,
The Second Class Team
